Remove unwanted “RED EYES” in your photos

Though these days most of the new cameras reduce or even discharge the red eye error on the photos we take, there may still be the need of Photoshop to remove completely red eyed photos.  This tutorial will show you the simplest way to get rid of red eyes. Simply follow our steps and learn how it is done.

Here is our sample image, a girl with red eyes:)

1) Open your image and then go to Image > Adjustments > Channel Mixer. Now set the Output Red Channel to Red  0%, Green 50%, Blue 50%. This will make the whole picture colorless but go on:)

2) In this step select the mask of the adjustment layer and colorize it with black (Alt+Backspace). Now select the paint brush and paint on the mask with white to reveal the effect of the adjustment layer. Select the paint brush the size of the red spot in the eye.

Learn how to make a pencil drawing effect on your photos

In this toturial we will learn  very basic and simple steps to make the effect of pencil drawing to our images .
1- pick the picture you want to pencile draw it .
We need two layers one for the image and the other will be white color .

2- with the image layer selected . change the Layer blending mode to Luminosity

3- the next step is to add the filter find edges to our image
go to Filter>stylize >Find Edges

now your picture should look something like this

4- Pick the Eraser tool and erase the unwanted shadows which depend on ur own view , or how you want your final work to look like.

You may also change the opacity of Eraser tool if you dont want to delete the shadow and just want to make it more light.
or also use Brush tool to add more shadows . which i leave it to you :-)

How to create a glossy Pill Icon in Photoshop

If you are a beginner and want to create a pill icon in Photoshop, you are on the right page. Here I will tutorialize you a way of making a pill image via Photoshop.

1. Create a new document

Create a new Photoshop document with the values on this picture.

2. Place and trace
Step number two is to drag and drop the sketch.jpg file into the canvas. Than just resize it with “transformation tool” to fit. Finally hit enter.

As next you have to lock the sketch bitmap layer. For this; select the layer and click on the padlock icon which seems like a lock.

Now select the pen tool and click on Shape Layer in the toolbar.

Click on any edge of sketch and add points to start tracing the image. Automatically Photoshop will create a new shape layer. Follow the sketch lines to fill one part of the pill icon. This is absolutely the main step to get succeed after this tutorial.

Try to trace the sketch as you see above.

Now close the shape by clicking on the first point. After that  select the Direct Selection Tool (Ctrl+Shift+A) to fix any misplaced points. If you want to move around click twice on points.
